Bandai Namco Entertainment and ILCA Inc. announced new company – Bandai Namco Aces

In a press release, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that it was working with ILCA Inc. to create a new gaming company called Bandai Namco Aces to develop high-end photorealistic content.

This new company will be headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, and will combine  the game production expertise offered by Bandai Namco and the technical capabilities of ILCA Inc.

The new company will leverage the experience and skills of both founding companies to deliver “deep and lasting, high-quality content to fans around the world, including for the ACE COMBAT series,”.

The President and CEO of Bandai Namco Aces, Takuya Iwasaki, also expressed his excitement for the new company’s future on their official website and detailed what it aims to accomplish.

“We will continue to work together with creators in the game and computer graphics industries and game players around the world as one organization,” said Iwasaki.

“Please look forward to the entertainment we will create,”

The capital for the new company is 10 million Yen (R1,2 million), with Bandai Namco Entertainment holding 51% and ILCA Inc 49% of the investment shares.

The first project for Bandai Namco Aces will be the new Ace Combat game being developed in Unreal Engine 5.
