God of War Ragnarok gets release date

The highly anticipated sequel to God of War, God of War Ragnarok, has finally gotten a release date – confirming that it will launch this year.

In a tweet sent out by PlayStation, it was revealed that the new game will release on 9 November 2022.

Before this tweet, there had been rumours that the game would be delayed to 2023, but fortunately, these rumours have been proven false.

Likewise, while it was confirmed that we weren’t getting any updates for the game at the end of June, these rumours obviously had some substance, given we have received an update on the first week of July.

Along with the release date, PlayStation was also kind enough to release a cinematic trailer for Ragnarok, which you can watch below.
