Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak has reached the milestone of 3 million copies sold as of yesterday.
This follows Capcom announcing just last week that the expansion had reached its 2 million sales milestone.
To celebrate this achievement, Monster Hunter director Yoshitake Suzuki and the team have shared a special illustration via a Twitter post.
The post also included a message of thanks to fans and a note that the Capcom team is working hard on future updates for the game.
When the game reached its 2 million sales milestone, Capcom released two celebratory item packs, and it is possible that it will do something similar because of this new achievement.
Last week’s first item pack included: Ancient Potion x 10, Dango Ticket x 20, Dash June x 20, HA. Sphere x 5 and Silver Egg x 5.
The second pack had: Mega Potion x 50, Well-done Steak x 30, L.Barrel Bomb x 20, Mega Demondrug x 10 and Mega Armorskin x 10.
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak has sold over 3 million units worldwide!
All of us on the dev team are deeply thankful. I’m here to share an illustration to commemorate the occasion, and to let everyone know that we’re working hard on future updates.
