Anime streaming site Crunchyroll has announced that they have reduced the monthly price of Crunchyroll Premium memberships in nearly 100 countries – including South Africa.
This price decrease is fairly substantial for the service, with prices dropping over 20% across all subscription options.
The Mega Fan Monthly subscription is now only R49 and the year package R490.
This change is a welcome surprise for viewers, given the mounting prices of other amenities.
The Mega Fan package offers unlimited access to the site’s library, new episodes of anime one hour after airing in Japan, and digital manga. It also allows you to stream on four devices at a time, and provides offline viewing capability.
If you were holding off on getting a subscription for the streaming site and were hesitant over its price, now could be an excellent time to try it.
