Hogwarts Legacy has again been delayed

15 August 2022

In a saddening move for fans of the universe and those looking forward to the game, Hogwarts Legacy has been delayed.

The announcement was made by the game’s official Twitter account and indicated that the title would be released next year on 10 February.

This announcement comes from the game developer needing a little more time to deliver the best possible game experience for fans.

The delay to produce a quality game experience is the same as the previous delay that saw the game’s release date pushed to the end of this year.

While this isn’t necessarily cause for concern if Hogwarts Legacy gets delayed another time to allow the developers to ensure the game offers a quality experience, fans should temper their expectations.

Delays aren’t inherently a bad sign, some games that have already been released in hindsight should have been delayed, but repeated delays could hint toward the title being not as far along as fans would hope.

Hogwarts Legacy is now set to release on 10 February 2023 on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC – a Nintendo Switch release is planned for a later date.
