Afrihost: prepaid ADSL data at R15 per GB

In September 2009 Afrihost stunned the ADSL market when they launched their R29 per GB ADSL offering.

At the time, the standard per-GB pricing typically ranged between R50 and R70 per GB, and Afrihost slashed their own data bundle pricing from R57 per GB to R29 per GB.

The company has now done the same in the prepaid ADSL market with its latest promotion: Prepaid ADSL priced at R15 per GB.

Afrihost cut their usual pricing or R39 per GB by 61%, but at the same time reduced the maximum lifetime of the data from twelve months to three months.

The new Afrihost prepaid accounts offer subscribers up to 3 months (92 days) to use the data after the purchase date of the data.

According to Afrihost, their new prepaid data accounts use unshaped data from Internet Solutions.
