A transmission containing a morsel of information about the demo for BioWare’s third instalment in the action-RPG space opera Mass Effect has been picked up on the ELF wavelength through MyGaming’s powerful radio telescope array in the Karoo.
Okay, the news actually came through twitter, from Mass Effect 3 executive producer Casey Hudson: “Stay tuned for news on demo plans in a few months.”
With Mass Effect 3 recently delayed and now pegged for some time within Q1 of 2012, the ‘few months’ window is fairly vague.
Let’s hope that the demo does break industry trends and is actually available a reasonable time before the game launches so that all those impulse buyers can perhaps make an informed decision for once. It would also be nice if the demo isn’t a bug-ridden piece of rubbish like the Dragon Age 2 demo.
