Valve has teamed up with Dark Horse Comics to deliver an A4-sized hardcover print edition of their various gaming related comics.
The collection will be titled ‘Valve presents: The Sacrifice and other Steam-powered stories’. It will contain over 300-pages of stories and illustrations from the Left 4 Dead 2, Team Fortress 2, and Portal series of games.
That would presumably include the six part series of Team Fortress 2 comics, the four parts of Left 4 Dead 2 comic The Sacrifice, and the Portal 2 Lab Rat comic.
There is currently no indication that there will be any additional stories that haven’t already appeared online, but one would hope so, otherwise the comic book loses a bit of its collectability appeal.
The Sacrifice and other Steam-powered stories will be going on sale on 16 November for the RRP of US$29.99 – just in time to stuff Christmas stockings; how convenient.
