Purveyor of online PC gaming goodness, iGame, has announced that this month it will hol a special event just for Call of Duty 4 snipers.
The Byteserve July Sniper event will take place on 31 July across three 30 minute free-for-all rounds. The player with the most kills across all three rounds will win them self a Razer Lycosa gaming keyboard, courtesy of Byteserve.co.za. Entry is free and open, and the event will take place on iGame’s Core Beta server: 196.2.97.212:28961.
A password will be required to log into the server, and it will be provided on 30 July in the official competition forum thread.
Players will be limited to using the following sniper kit:
Primary weapon: M40A3
Secondary weapon: USP – Silencer
Special grenade: smoke grenade
Perk 1: Bandolier
Perk 2: Stopping power
Perk 3: Deep impact
The first round will be played at 11AM on the map Overgrown. The second round will be played at 5PM on Creek, and the final round will be played at 9PM on Ambush.
