Black Ops Rezurrection DLC features zombies on the moon

4 August 2011

You wanted new zombie maps, you got new zombie maps. Kind of, anyway – turns out the next Call of Duty: Black Ops DLC add-on is big on zombies, and also big on remakes from Call of Duty: World at War.

The Rezurrection pack features five maps for the Zombies mode, including four remakes – Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa and Der Riese – and a new fifth map, Moon. It’s not just a clever name either, it’s actually set on the moon.

As a bonus extra, the DLC also comes with a special Moon dashboard theme for Xbox, as well as the official Zombies soundtrack. Score.
Because the four remakes were already packed into the Hardened and Prestige editions of Black Ops, the people who bought those get this DLC for freebies. Double score.

Everybody else will have to put up 1200 MSP when it launches on Xbox on 23 August. A PC and PS3 launch is expected to follow up “by the end of September”.
