OpenWeb today (29 August 2011) announced the launch of their “384k Uncapped promotion with Gaming pack”.
The uncapped ADSL service, which is priced at R229 per month, prioritizes gaming and VoIP traffic allowing for better latency and better quality gaming and online voice calls.
OpenWeb founder Keoma Wright explained that the service is only available on 384kbps and on a standard uncapped account, but there are plans to introduce a gold version in future.
OpenWeb also launched their custom e-mail service recently, offering subscribers their own “@yourname.co.za” e-mail address service.
Priced at R349 per month, the service offers a free .co.za domain, 10GB of storage space, unlimited e-mail addresses, unlimited traffic and a 1GB Gold ADSL account every month.
