Although EA hasn’t yet officially announced Dead Space 3, it shouldn’t come as a big shocker that another sequel is already in the works.
What’s perhaps somewhat more surprising is that, unofficially, the game is breaking headlines after an Israeli TV Channel 10 special captured some footage of it during a tour of EA’s Redwood Studios.
The video comes via Israeli IGN reader David Porges, who spotted what’s almost certainly a breach of some pretty serious non-disclosure agreement on the show, and uploaded it to the internet for everybody else to gawk at. Good man.
There’s admittedly not very much to see, just a logo, what appears to be a wall of concept art, and some 3D models of Necromorphs, but damn it, IT’S DEAD SPACE 3.
When asked about the video, EA responded with standard corporate prevarication, saying “We don’t have any news about the Dead Space franchise at this time.”
