New Portal 2 DLC in 3 days

1 October 2011

Good news for Portal addicts, soon you’ll be able to stop replaying the various missions, trying to pretend you’ve forgotten the solutions to all the puzzles. As a Portal addict myself, I can tell you this is actually more fun than it sounds.

Valve has announced that the first set of Portal 2 DLC, under the title Peer Review, will launch on all 3 platforms on the 4th of October – and even better, it’s free.

The DLC will continue the story arc of the Aperture bots P-Body and Atlas through a new co-op series of tests, where they’ll again be trying to outsmart evil supercomputer GLaDOS.

You’ll also get a new single player and co-op Challenge Mode, as well as leaderboards which will be going live. Not a bad deal at all for the reasonable price of nothing.

If you’re struggling to hold out the three days, you can download the last installment of the Portal 2 soundtrack is available for download, and yup, that’s free too. Nice.
