Apparently the Entertainment Software Ratings Board certification for Battlefield 3 revealed that, among other dirty deeds done dirt cheap, “players shoot police officers to complete a mission objective”.

I managed to miss this somehow last week because Nic steals all the best headlines.

That’s somewhat in contradiction of DICE’s previous decision to disallow shooting civilians, basically because if you let people do bad things, they probably will.

“I don’t think you understand the gravity of the situation. For God’s sake, there is a nuke in Paris! Millions of lives are at stake!!”

I mean, when you think about it like that, it’s just sensible.
