There are times in gaming journalism where you really wish that you were brushed-up on foreign languages.
That way, sifting through broken English via Google Translate would be a thing of tha past – and confirmations about things like a Jak and Daxter HD Collection coming in 2012 could be properly corroborated.
Per Morten Mjølkeråen, from Norwegian gaming site, Playstationspill.no, recently put up an article apparently quoting Justin Richmond from Naughty Dog confirming the existence of a HD reworking of the super-popular duo.
There’s not much to go on besides the word of Per Morten, but Twitter confirms that Mr. Richmond was indeed in Oslo, so there’s that.
Oh, and our very own BTGames has the product listed on their site, as well.
That’s not saying much though, considering many sites are quoting that as the source of the rumours that have been going around for ages.
Fans, including myself, have been crying for this game to be put on Naughty Dog’s agenda, and if this gets some official confirmation, then we can scratch it off of the “list of HD remakes we really want.”
Apparently the collection will contain the 3 numbered titles in the Jak and Daxter series, all with shiny new HD graphics.
