Humble Frozen Synapse Bundle banks $1.1 million

13 October 2011

The Humble Frozen Synapse Bundle has closed up shop, with 231,799 bundles sold and just over US$1.1 million in the bank.

The deal included DRM-free versions of Frozen Synapse, SpaceChem, and the “unique photographic experience” Trauma as a bonus extra, with the Humble Frozenbyte Bundle chucked in for free if you paid more than the average buying price.

By the big numbers then:

•    Total payments: $1 115 350.13
•    Total number of purchases: 231 799
•    Average purchase: $4.81
•    Average Windows: $4.13
•    Average Mac: $6.95
•    Average Linux: $9.41

As usual, PC gamers turn out to be the cheapest, coming in at an average that’s less than half of Linux gamers’ contributions, AND below the total average. Tsk, tsk.

They do however, account for the overwhelming majority of buyers, so that’s something.

All told, the Humble Frozen Synapse Bundle fell somewhat short of August’s Humble Indie Bundle 3, which cashed in over $2 million.
