I don’t know anything about this game, but I know it’s a big deal because this guy I had brunch with a few weeks back couldn’t shut up about it.
More specifically, he was cryfacing over the fact that the game wouldn’t be seeing a release outside of Japan.
Most specifically, though, the place we had brunch served macon instead of bacon, and really, it’s just not the same.
Anyway, guy-I-had-brunch-with-a-few-weeks-back and everybody else who has been suffering sleepless nights and sudden outpourings of grief can rest easy; Namco Bandai has confirmed that the game will, in fact, be seeing a release outside of Japan.
According to Wikipedia, the game is about a boy who travels to an alternate reality using a magic book given to him by a man-fairy disguised as a doll. No, I couldn’t make this stuff up if I tried.
The game’s scheduled to launch sometime in 2012, exclusively on PS3. In the meantime, here’s a pretty trailer.
