Telltale’s Jurassic Park delayed for Xbox 360

31 October 2011

If you’re an Xbox 360 owner and have been looking forward to playing Telltale’s Jurassic Park game, sorry to break it to you, but due to licensing and publishing issues in the UK – you won’t be able to get your hands on it until next year.

Never fear PS3 and PC owners, you’ll still be getting it later this month.

While Telltale’s Jurassic Park game has popped up in coverage every now and then; it’s mostly been a silent title here at MyGaming – which is a pity, because it looks quite interesting.

Telltale is known for bringing us new Monkey Island games as well as the Back to the Future games which were actually pretty good – so it’s quite a mystery as to why this never picked up much interest.

The game is a puzzle-adventure game of sorts, where you progress through a multitude of quick-time events and button mashing; there’s no direct control, so the word “on-rails” springs to mind, but there are branching paths for you to choose.

Fail to do things correctly, and you’re dino-bait.

While nothing ground-breakingly amazing – especially in terms of graphics –  it does look like an interesting title for those of us who don’t simply want to whack everything we come across in the love-plums.

If that’s how you roll, you can get Jurassic Park on PC and PSN on 15 November 2011

Check out a gameplay trailer below.
