A job listing discovered by industry spies over at The Silent Chief indicates that Sony’s Santa Monica Studio is hiring for the position of “senior staff concept artist”, available “immediately”.
The project listed is “God of War”, which is pretty unambiguous.
“Join the GOW team! The Santa Monica Studio is an open and creative environment, where we strive to make the best games in the industry. Join us as we embark on our next project,” reads the ad.
The job requirements include “Some previous or next-gen video game platform experience is desirable (e.g. PS2, PS3, X-box, X-box 360 etc.)”, suggesting this might be another PS3 title, not a Vita game.
Santa Monica Studio is the dev responsible for most previous God of War releases, including the original game.
