CoD Elite still experiencing problems, subscriptions extended by 30 days

Call of Duty Elite

Four days since launch, and the Call of Duty Elite service is still pretty much a non-starter.

In a post over on the official Elite status page, the person responsible for writing updates has written an update explaining the situation, what they’re doing to fix it, and how much everybody over at Elite HQ loves you forever and ever.

Problems have apparently come about as a result of unexpected load on servers, and the team is “working non-stop to identify issues and resolve them as quickly as possible”.

In the meantime, though, your Black Ops and Modern Warfare 3 data is safe, and will be available once everything is sorted out.

“And for our premium members who are Founders, know that granting your status and delivering your in-game benefits in MW3 is a priority,” adds the anonymous public relations person.

“Also, to ensure that every premium member receives their full money’s worth, we are immediately and automatically extending your membership to Call of Duty Elite by 30 days at no additional cost. If you’re still considering becoming a premium member, we’re going to extend Founder eligibility until the end of the month, and you will also receive the additional 30 days of access.”

So that’s nice.
