Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) announced today (17 November 2011) pre-order details for the PlayStation Vita (PS Vita).
The portable gaming device will be hitting retail shelves across the PAL region from 22 February 2012.
For a limited period, starting from 30th November, pre-orders for PS Vita will be available at selected retailers.
While Ster Kinkeor, official distributor of Sony products in South Africa, has yet to reveal a recommended retail price (RRP), we can probably expect something official quite soon.
Earlier reports of unofficial pre-order pricing from SA retailers pegged the device at between R3,499 to R3,799.95 for the Wi-Fi + 3G model, and around R2,799 for the Wi-Fi only version.
RRP on PS Vita games in SA has also not been revealed at this stage.

Pre-orders will obviously guarantee a PS Vita on the day of launch, but also come with a choice of PS Vita Gift Pack incentives which can be taken home when paying the pre-order deposit.
