Skyrim has certainly been worth the hype, racking up critical acclaim, sales, and impressive figures such as 250,000 PC players online concurrently, a number which left powerhouse Modern Warfare 3 in the dust.
It hasn’t all been dragons and roses however, as many fans have been mildly annoyed by an array of bugs yet to be ironed out of the final release; earlier this week Bethesda asked players to be patient in the meantime while they cobbled a patch together.
An update has now come down the social networking pipeline courtesy of Pete Hines, who said on Twitter, PS3 & 360 updates have been submitted for certification. PC coming too. Current estimate is they will be live the week after T’giving,”
Thanksgiving in America will be November 24th, so the patch should be coming out on the 28th of November at the earliest. That may be a bit of a long wait for the more impatient among us, but the reported bugs to date haven’t been anything game-ruining so we should survive till then, ‘lest we be ambushed by dragons.
