Skyrim PS3 savegame bug getting fixed

If there’s one thing you can always count on with a new game from Bethesda, it’s the bugs. Oh, the bugs.

They should just make a game about bugs, it would be totally meta. They could call it, like, Bugout or The Elder Bugs.

I should also trademark those so I can sue Bethesda when they announce them.

In the meantime, though, as previously reported there’s an update for PC and both console versions of the game due out sometime next week.

Among other things, it’s been confirmed that the update will fix up with save game lag issue on PS3, but no word yet on the texture streaming problems on Xbox, but it’s very likely it’ll get sorted too.

“PS3 and 360 updates have been submitted for certification. PC coming too. Current estimate is they will be live the week after Thanksgiving,” said Bethesda’s Pete Hines.

Back in September, Skyrim producer Todd Howard promised to leave “fun” bugs in the game, so don’t worry, the gravity-defying horse physics are probably safe.
