Is there another Dante’s Inferno in development?
And I don’t mean that in a “:O OMG THERE’S ANOTHER DANTE’S INFERNO IN DEVELOPMENT?!1” kind of way, but more like a “…There’s another Dante’s Inferno in development? o_O” kind of way.
According to writer Joshua Ruben’s latest online resumé, it sure looks like it.
Ruben, whose credits include Assassin’s Creed II, lists his most recent position as “the sole writer for a Major Unannounced Sequel from Visceral Studios at EA Games”, and in a not-so-subtle added “hint”, links to the original Dante’s Inferno trailer.
Visceral was last seen launching Dead Space 2, before moving over to some as yet unannounced something or other.
A few months ago, an Israeli TV crew visiting EA/Visceral’s Redwood studio managed to capture footage of the developers working on Dead Space 3, but it’s not at all unlikely that the company has more than one project on the go.
And whatever happened to that Jack the Ripper game?
