Our favourite purveyor of local StarCraft II tournaments, PolarfluKe, has announced the December XMAS 2011 tournament. As usual there will be R8,000 up for grabs, making it South Africa’s biggest monthly StarCraft II event.
When and Where
- Wednesday 7th December – Fast-Track Qualifier play starts at 7pm (GMT+2).
- Saturday 10th December – Swiss Round play starts at 2pm (GMT+2).
- Sunday 11th December – Single Elimination play starts at 2pm (GMT+2).
- The tournament will run via the European Battle.net servers.
Players must be 18 years or older to participate, otherwise they must submit a letter of consent signed by a legal guardian to [email protected] before registration. Of course, they must also own a legal copy of StarCraft II and have a European Battle.net account. Players will also have to be available on IRC for the duration of the tournament, and scores must be submitted by both players to the tournament administrator who will be available on IRC in channel PolarfluKe.
Prize pool: R8,000.00
- Winner: R 2 800.00
- 2nd: R 1 800.00
- 3rd: R 1 100.00
- 4th: R 700.00
- 5th-8th: R 400.00
