A teaser for the next edition of Coro Coro Comics in Japan says, quite clearly, that there’s going to be an announcement about a new Pokemon game in the issue that goes on sale in January.

Do you see it? It’s right there, near the brightly coloured symbol, by the zany anime character.
In all seriousness though, the reported teaser comes via Andriasang, which is how we English-only shells of human beings plug into news from the east, so it seems legit, bro.
Add to this earlier rumours of a new Pokemon announcement happening at this weekend’s Jump Fiesta in Japan, it’s looking pretty certain that we’re going to have a big Poké end to 2011 and mon-ster start to 2012.
I’m betting on the third game of generation V.
