DICE has released the previously “exclusive” Battlefield 3 pre-order DLC for everybody; for free; for Christmas!
Well, not specifically for Christmas, and it was actually released on PS3 last week already, but whatever – I’ve made it my mission to make Christmas references in every single news item this week, and I’m falling short of quota.
The Physical Warfare Pack includes a very festive gingerbread DAO-12 shotgun with custom flechette and tinsel ammo, a reindeer-powered flash suppressor for the SKS sniper rifle that plays Jingles Bells, and the Type 88 Light Machine Gun, glazed and topped with pineapple rings and a thousand Christmas wishes.
Or if you’re a Grinch; a DAO shotgun with flechette ammo, a flash suppressor for the SKS, and the Type 88 LMG.
Battlefield 3 Physical Warfare pack contents
“On Xbox 360, you can find Physical Warfare Pack at no extra charge in the in-game store,” reads the official notice. “On PC, the content should be automatically available in play and visible in Battlelog.”
