Dark Souls PC possible if demand is “properly done”

6 January 2012

Do you want Dark Souls on PC? You do? Then why are you reading this instead of telling Namco Bandai? Only you can make it happen, man. Okay, well, you and the developers but you know what I mean.

Until now the game has only been launched for silly tellybox gamestations, and denied to True Gamers.

Responding to a query about a PC True Gamer version of the game over on the company’s forums, Namco Bandai community manager Tony Shoupinou says it’s all a matter of enough “demand”.

“There is always possibilities to have games adapted on PC and the good news is that Dark Souls is not a 100% typical Console game so the adaptation is possible,” he writes in a very charming version of English. “Now to make things happen, let’s say the demand has to be properly done. someone to make a successful petition?”

Quick, somebody set up us the petition! If there’s one thing I know about PC gamers, it’s that they really do want to hit things with swords for points.
