Minecraft has gained 50 XP and levelled up to 1.1!
Hitpoints increased by 10, magicka increased by 5, pigs increased by 2.
New skills added:
- Bow Enchantments.
- Golden Apple recipe.
- New language translations.
- Slightly smoothed color transitions between biomes.
- Reduced brewing time to 20 seconds.
- Spawn eggs to creative (the colours of the eggs even look like the mobs).
- World type options (currently only super-flat and default).
- Removed collision box from ladders.
- Sheep eat grass and regain their wool.
New passive ability added:
- Bugs fixed.
…You get the idea.
In related news, Minecraft dev Markus “Notch” Persson has given the yo-ho-go-ahead to pirate the game if you can’t afford it.
Responding to a follower on Twitter who had asked for a free account because he didn’t have cash to buy it, Notch told him to “Just pirate it. If you still like it when you can afford it in the future, buy it then. Also don’t forget to feel bad.”
Maybe he was joking. It’s hard to tell with the vikings – just ask the monks at Lindisfarne Priory.
