I’ve been playing since the beta and, IMHO, it’s just another MMO. Sure it’s got some nice touches but overall it’s the same “go and bring me a doodad”, “kill 5 of those”, etc.
Hopefully it’s the last MMO of the current generation, I don’t think the market will accept another serving of the same old tired s**t. One thing I will give kudos to is the incredible smooth launch… probably the best in living memory.
It’s time developers took a few risks, change the formula and bring something new to the table. The time to play it safe is over.
