En Masse Entertainment has announced that its forthcoming MMORPG will be released in Europe on 3 May 2012.
The game was first released in South Korea in January 2011, and spent the past year being localised for Western audiences.
Tera runs on the Unreal 3 Engine and implements an action orientated targeting system that allows players to string combat moves together and execute combos.
The combat system promises to be unique from other MMORPGs, and Tera Europe producer Stephan Krippendork believes that it will be the core differentiating feature for the game in a crowded MMO market.
The Western version of the game has been in closed beta since December 2011. The beta is expected to continue for a few more weeks.
Atari is distributing Tera, so we can expect it to arrive in SA at the time of the European release.
