Resident Evil 6 gets announced
What started out as a long stretch eventually turned into indications of an imminent announcement of a new Resident Evil title – and in the end, the rumours turned out to be true; Resident Evil 6 was announced and is looking awesome.

Star Wars: The Old Republic makes waves, money
Not only did we get our Star Wars: The Old Republic review out this week – but the MMO has also seen a whole lot of updates, add-ons and fixes coming from BioWare – can’t blame them, really, seeing as it’s making them buckets of cash.

Skyrim updates and fixes
FINALLY. The patch for the pesky PlayStation 3 problems that have been persisting on the platform (amongst other fixes) is coming our way; on top of that, the PC-only creation kit and Steam Workshop is almost ready, too.

Demos, demos and a demo date
Two big demos landed this week, and one was dated: Mass Effect 3 and Kingdoms of Amalur will feature some cross-universe rewards for giving them a bash, and the ever-so-gorey Darkness 2 also crept out of the void.

Delays, delays and uncertainty
When we posted our Q1 games listing, we sort of pre-empted some delays popping up – in this case, Max Payne 3 got pushed back a couple of months, XCOM won’t make it this year – and Diablo 3? Who knows.
