Resident Evil 6 screenshots unleashed

24 January 2012

Resident Evil 6 is set to launch on 20 November 2012 for Xbox 360 and PS3, with a PC version following closely behind. Rumour has it that the game will support multiplayer modes including 6-player co-op and a mystery 8-player multiplayer mode.

Slightly less than a year away, there’s plenty of time to warm up the anticipation engines for Capcom‘s latest zombie-murder/survival-horror simulator.

The story goes that it has been a decade since the Raccoon City incident and the President of the United States has decided to reveal the truth behind what took place in the belief that it will curb the current resurgence in bioterrorist activity.

Due to be by the President’s side is his personal friend and Raccoon City survivor, Leon S. Kennedy – but when the venue suffers a bioterrorist attack, Leon is forced to face a President transformed beyond recognition and make a tough decision.

At the same time, Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance member Chris Redfield arrives in China, itself under threat of a bioterrorist attack. With no country safe from these attacks and the ensuing outbreaks, the entire world’s population is united by a common fear that there is no hope left.

So, as promised, here are some more screenshots from Resident Evil 6.

Just in case you missed it the first time around, here is the Resident Evil 6 announcement trailer.
