EA’s Origin adds 11 new publisher catalogues

EA has announced it’s made best friends forever with eleven other publishers in a new Origin distribution deal.

Trion’s MMO Rift is already available on the storefront.

The new partnership includes CD Projekt Red (publisher and developer of The Witcher series), Freebird Games (To the Moon), inXile Entertainment (Hunted: The Demon’s Forge, Choplifter HD), Recoil Games, Autumn Games, 1C Company, Paradox Interactive, Core Learning Ltd. and N3V Games.

“Origin is focused on providing choice to consumers and the games they play,” said Craig Rechenmacher, Vice President of Business Development and Marketing for Origin at EA.

“From blockbuster franchises to high-quality independent titles, we’re bringing the industry’s best content to one place. We’re excited to welcome new partners and a diverse new line-up of titles to Origin today.”

    That’s a load of crap, they saw how much money Steam is making and now they want some of that pie.
