Internet service providers, Afrihost and Mweb, have launched ADSL specials valid for today only (29 February 2012) to celebrate the leap year.
Afrihost is running two promotions for capped ADSL, the first of which offers 29GB of data per month, with the first month (March 2012) costing R290. The package will cost R399 thereafter.
Their second promotion is on top-up data that expires at midnight, where you get 4GB of data for R29 (R7.25/GB).
Mweb is offering the first 366 customers (one for each day of the leap year) their first month’s subscription free when they sign up for an Mweb Uncapped ADSL Data Only package, for today only (29 February 2012).
The legalese of the Mweb promotion is as follows:
- This promo is only available to new Mweb Uncapped, Shaped ADSL Data only customers and cannot be taken up in conjunction with any other Mweb promotion.
- The promo excludes Mweb’s 10mbps Uncapped, unshaped ADSL packages as well as MWEB Business products.
- The promotion excludes all line rentals.
- The promotion ends once 366 new uncapped data only customers have signed up on 29 Feb, or at 19h00 on 29 Feb, whichever comes first.
- Mweb Acceptable Use Policy applies.
- Mweb has a 30-day notice period for the cancellation of any subscriptions
