I got a call about 10 minutes ago to let me know that I can go collect my PC copy of Mass Effect 3. Just like pretty much everyone else on Earth who plays video games, I’m ridiculously excited about this one, so that’s all I’m going to be playing this weekend. Things won’t be the same without my usual boozy late Friday afternoon Battlefield 3 session, but it’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make in order to destroy the Reaper threat forever and save humanity.

No time for gaming this weekend, Ramfest is here! Saturday will be spent drinking copious amounts of alcohol while jamming to In Flames (and whoever else happens to be performing). Sunday will be spent recovering from the hangover, and Monday will be spent faking serious injury to avoid coming to work.

This weekend is a combined blessing from the recently formed coalition of heavy metal and gaming gods. Like Derrick, I will be inducing brain damage to the glorious performance of In Flames (see you at the office on Monday Derrick!) and then I’ll squeeze in some Mass Effect 3 playtime while I nurse my hangover and stiff neck.
