Hello, new iPad
So, you may have missed it, but Apple announced their new tablet this week – and for once, “industry speculation” was pretty on the nose! Though there’s a bit of a tussle around the name – if it’s the “new iPad” what will the next iPad be called? The NEW new iPad? We’re calling it the iPad 3.

Valve makes news even without trying
Oh Gabe, oh you! It seems that Valve just can’t go a week without someone asking for Half Life 3, or making some or other big claim – and this week, more details started ‘leaking’ out about the supposed Steam Box. Luckily Gabe and the guys came around and said it’s not a thing, and then they went back to counting their piles of money. As one does.

Halo 4 makes an appearance
So a few Halo 4 images made their way to the internet this week – and they’re legit. Some of us around the office still can’t really tell the difference, but they’re legit, okay?

Local news for you
Keeping it local, that’s one of our many mottos around here (along with “What happened last night?” and “they’ll never find the bodies”) – and as usual, there’s a lot of stuff happening around you. If you’re into a mix of music and some gaming chat, give Land Of Gamers radio a listen – who knows, maybe you’ll be inspired to become a gaming DJ yourself. Please, just no dubstep.
