Over the weekend, rumors of a delay in the hugely hyped KillZone II surfaced.
Retailers such as Take2 and BT games have both moved the release date back from the original February 27 to March 6.
We contacted local distributers Sterkinekor, who were able to confirm the delay.
“This was to ensure adequate promotional and PR coverage can be secured for the release.”
We are not sure if this is the most sensible strategy, if anything, we would think that delaying the local release will only encourage people to import the title themselves.
