Assassin’s Creed Kinect is mind-blowingly ridiculous, and not real

2 April 2012

While everyone was waiting for all the best April Fools jokes and announcements to roll in from developers and publishers, gamers themselves got in on the action and put together a video showcasing Assassin’s Creed: Kinect, which thankfully does not actually exist.

The video itself is an achievement in its own right, as it captures the often ridiculous environment of a typical Microsoft Kinect video, but manages to parody motion-controls to new heights.

Check out the ‘official’ description on YouTube and watch out the video for yourself.

“Get in shape while you come ever closer to the truth locked away in the DNA of Desmond Miles, and his legendary ancestors,” reads the official description for the unofficial Assassin’s Creed Kinect trailer. Yes, like (just about) everything else revealed today, this announcement trailer for the full-body control assassination game is fake. But the source of laughs/disgust is not from Ubisoft itself. This one’s fan-made and deserves your attention.”
