Modern Warfare 3 blackout planned by community

2 April 2012

A petition to rally Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 players from all over the world has gained some serious momentum in the last week.

Many MW3 gamers feel that their continuous pleas and requests to Activision and Infinity Ward to fix problems with the game have not been answered.

Members of the Modern Warfare 3 community feel that a blackout is the only way for the publisher and developer to take notice of their grievances with the game.

The movement asks for all players to abstain from playing MW3 on April 20th 2012 for an entire 24 hours, in order for the problems of lag compensation, matchmaking options and a number of other issues to be addressed.
