According to a report from WiiUDaily, Nintendo’s new console looks like it’ll be hitting store shelves across North America in November 2012.
The information comes from an internal e-mail which was allegedly leaked by Akihabara-based Media Land, a popular video game retailer throughout Tokyo.
The memo apparently states that the Wii U is set to launch across Japan a week after North America’s November 18, 2012 launch date.
The e-mail didn’t detail any information regarding a European or any other region’s release date, nor was it officially confirmed from Nintendo.
The original Wii launched on November 16, 2006, leading many to believe that the Wii U’s reported launch date could be accurate given that it corresponds with its predecessor’s release to almost exactly 6 years.
