Sonic co-creator, Hirokazu Yasuhara, has joined Nintendo. He will work at the firm’s Nintendo Software Technology studio in Redmond, Washington.
Yasuhara, and fellow co-creator Yuji Naka, previously worked on projects at SEGA, including the Sonic the Hedgehog series, Mega-drive and Saturn console production and designs.
He later worked with Naughty Dog as a game designer for Jak & Daxter and Uncharted.
His last project was creating Wii title Pac-Man Party at Namco Bandai for the franchise’s 30th anniversary.
