Epic Games developing PC exclusive

8 April 2012
Epic Games

The most neglected platform in gaming is finally getting a bit of love recently. We’ve just seen veteran PC developer John Romero confirming he’s due to begin development on a PC title. And now it looks like Epic Games is following suit.

At PAX East yesterday president Mike Capps hinted that they “might be working on a PC-only title”, before Gear of War guy Cliff Bleszinski blew his cover, saying “”Let me say that again: we are working on a PC game.” Nice.

Predictably we got absolutely nothing in the way of actual details, and I do mean a literal nothing. All we know is that it’s a PC game, and Capps confirmed after the PAX panel that it’s currently in development, and at the moment is planned to be a PC exclusive.

SUCK IT CONS- err, I mean aw, that sucks. I like multi-platform titles best and stuff.

Yeah, Hard Reset was a PC exclusive as well, and look how that pile of boring goo turned out.
