Rumors surrounding the development of Super Mario 4 are starting to gain momentum as Nintendo recently registered the domain for ‘supermario4.com‘.
The url currently redirects to Nintendo’s landing page, but it’s no doubt the link will eventually be used for a future Mario title; the question is: what and when?
Speculation is that Super Mario 4 will follow the footsteps of it’s predecessor, one of the fan-favourites of the series, and will probably feature on the 3DS.
Another theory is that it could be a yet-to-be-announced Wii U title, with Nintendo possibly planning some Mario magic to launch alongside their forthcoming console.
