Hardware manufacturer Sapphire pulled one of the more interesting publicity stunts at this year’s Cebit 2009 technology expo by having a an attractive female dress up as their mascot and build a high end crossfire PC.
Fudzilla reports that the actual system sported two HD 4870 GPUs and Sapphire’s new PURECrossfire 790G motherboard. It was housed inside a transparent Microcool 101 chasis, allowing onlookers to easily see the systems innards.
The model in question sported a small red shoulder strap top and twin plastic blades holstered at the hip – awesome. She apparently built the system from scratch as onlookers watched.
Although we generally dont condone cheap and tactless marketing ploys such as this, we decided to let this one slide seeing as its friday.
