Marvel vs Capcom 2 has been announced for iOS, and will be coming to your iPhones and iPads next week.
It’ll be interesting to see how the extremely fast paced and button combo game translates to a touch screen device, as on paper it looks like a very difficult adaptation to make. I can be self-assured that I’ll be particularly awful at it as I’ll have to abandon my go-to strat of furious button-mashing.
The game will hit iTunes with all 56 playable characters, crazy 2D graphics and promises all the same insane combos. How these combos will work in a button-less game remains to be seen.
Capcom haven’t made any mention of price yet, but as an iOS game you won’t be breaking the bank. By comparison, Street Fighter 4 can be picked up for about R40.
