Rayman Origins 2 appears to be real

24 April 2012

A recent survey from Ubisoft has hinted that a sequel to 2011’s Rayman Origins is in the works.

An anonymous source sent Kotaku some pictures from Arkenford, a marketing agency that Ubisoft uses, who ran a survey regarding what gamers would like to see in the next instalment of Rayman: Origins.

The pictures reveal that the series looks to be maintaining it’s four-player drop-in/drop-out 2D gameplay of the original, although Ubisoft may be taking the game to new environments which feature ghosts, dragons and other mythology.

The images could end up being nothing, but given the appearance of the survey and artwork revealed, it looks pretty solid.

In case you haven’t played the original, it’s one of MyGaming’s highest-rated games and is even featured on our overlooked and under-appreciated list.
