Popular Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has confirmed in its most recent issue that Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 has been confirmed for release on the PS3.
A translation of the article appearing on N4G reveals a number of interesting tidbits about the PS3 bound version of the previous Xbox 360 exclusive.
According to the N4G translation of the article:
– It will be an upgraded version of Ninja Gaiden 2, as opposed to a direct port
– It set for release around September
– New Weapon: Spiked Hammer “Genma”
– New giant boss battles not available in Xbox 3360 version
– New playable character – female ninja Ayane
