Black Ops 2 box art appears from leaked photo

24 April 2012

With all evidence pointing to a reveal of Black Ops 2 next week Tuesday, another fire-fueling image has been leaked.

Taken within an Italian game retailer (most probably leaked by employees), the photo shows a mock-up of a Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 box, which features the image that has been slipping around the internet.

The photo shows the gun-welding cover star along with the different, but similar looking, Call of Duty font and logo.

Italian stickers that translate to “reserve now” and “only for display”, as well as a conveniently placed lens-flare also lend to the idea that the box could’ve been purely created for in-store promotions.

Either way, it’s looking more and more likely that we’ll get a Black Ops 2 announcement next week – let’s all practice our ‘surprised’ faces.
