Apex Interactive to sponsor Battlefield 3 social league

South African game distributor Apex Interactive has stepped up to sponsor a social PS3 Battlefield 3 league.

SASS Clan were behind the formation of the PS3-based BF3 Social Squad Rush League, and they remain in charge. However, with the sponsorship comes a name change, and the league is now called the Apex Interactive BF3 Squad Rush League.

There are over R40,000 worth of prizes earmarked for the league.

The winning clan will receive R20,000 worth of prizes, which includes a sponsorship deal from Apex and a range of hardware, which is yet to be announced.

The 1st runner up clan received prizes valued over R12,00, and the second runner up clan receives prizes worth over R8,000.

Apex Interactive has said that more details will be coming soon.
